Apple & Apricot Danish Pastry

These make a quick breakfast for the kids or a yummy afternoon snack with a cuppa for you. ☕️

Ingredients:
> 320g ready roll pull pastry
> 3 tsp Apricot Jam
> 1 cooking apple (Bramley)
> 1 tsp cinnamon
> 1 egg

Method:
> Preheat your oven to 220 degrees centigrade
> Wash and thinly slice your apple
> Roll out the pastry. Take it out of the fridge 10mins before rolling.
> Cut into around 12 squares.
> Spread a small amount of apricot jam in the centre of each square then lay 2-3 slices of apple on top.
> Sprinkle a little cinnamon over each square.
> Crimp around the edges with a fork, then brush with egg wash.
> Bake for 15-18min or until golden brown.

Store in an airtight container for 2-3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
