If your little ones love pasta as much as mine, then this is a great recipe to add to your list. 
This nutritious bright green sauce is not only easy to makem but is packed with lots of vitamin C and vitamin A, as well as some iron, calcium and potassium. Blending the pasta water through the sauce also gives it a little bit of magic, adding some creaminess from the starchy water.
Ingredients:
> 200g broccoli heads
> 15g washed basil leaves 
> 50g pine nuts 
> 2 garlic cloves (2 tsp ready crushed garlic)
> 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil 
> 20g Parmasan 
> 1/2 cup of pasta water 
Method:
> Bring a big pan of water to boil.
> Boil the broccoli. After 2 mins remove the florets and add your pasta.
> While the pasta cooks, make the pesto. Blend the broccoli, basil, garlic, pine nuts, olive oil and parmesan until smooth.
> When the pasta is cooked, take some of the pasta water and add it to the pesto and blend in.
> Toss the pasta with the pesto and you’re done!
