Carrot and Sweet Potato Tots

These tots are great for meal times or a snack on the go, and super easy to make. I’ve been trying to find more options for when we are out and about, and these have been perfect.

This recipe is perfect for hidden veggies.

Suitable for 6months +
Recipe makes around 16-18 tots, mine ended on the larger side

2 Medium Sweet Potatoes
2 Carrots, Peeled and cut into chunks
½ Cup Grated Cheese of your choice
1 Cup of breadcrumbs
1 Egg
½ Teaspoon of Paprika
½ Teaspoon of Garlic Powder

1. Pre Heat the oven to 160 degrees
2. Peel and dice the carrots and sweet potatoes into chunks
3. Boil the chunks of veg for around 15 minutes
4. Once boiled drain and mash
5. Once mashed, stir in the egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, paprika and garlic powder
6. Take the mixture and start shaping into tots, either using your hands or a spoon
7. Bake the tots for around 20 minutes or until golden brown

Allergies – Egg and Dairy
Store in the fridge in an air tight container for 2 days or can be frozen for up to 3 months.
