Sweet Potato Biscuit Bites

Max loves these nutrient packed bites! Sweet potatoes are a superfood packed with lots of vitamin A & C, fibre and essential nutrients that help boost their immune system and promote healthy growth.
 
Suitable for 6months +
 
Makes approximately 20 bites
Ingredients:
1 cup (Approx. 130g) cooked sweet potato
1 Mashed banana
1 ½ cups of plain flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons of melted butter
1 teaspoon of Cinnamon (optional)

Method:
1.     Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2.     Mash up the cooked sweet potato into a puree.
3.     Mash up a ripe banana and add to the sweet potato, mix in. This adds a natural sweetness, plus moisture and flavour.
4.     Mix all of the dry ingredients together, then slowly incorporate into the wet mixture until you have a soft dough.
5.     Add the melted butter.
6.     Knead the dough with your hands and spread out.
7.     Place your biscuits onto a lined baking tray and bake for approximately 10mins.

Allergies – Dairy, wheat.
Store in an air tight container at room temp for 1-2 days or in the fridge for up to a week. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
