SUSTAINABLE STYLE Look no further for your perfect staples. I bought my Breton stripe t-shirt a couple of years ago and it’s one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. IVY is a brand run by Sally, mum of two, offering beautifully cut, conscious clothing. As a parent comfort and durability are so important and here you’ll find a gorgeous range of organic cotton T-shirts, sweats and dresses. Responsibly sourced in Portugal, they are made to last and hold their shape. Read more about Sally and IVY here, or see their instagram page here
WATCH Race Across the World season 4 is starting on BBC this week (10th April). We just love this show! I got hooked a few years back, and it provided some much-needed escapism during all the Covid lockdowns. Helen was a bit late to the show, but now is an avid watcher. Sunny and I even contemplated applying! If you're new to the show, it follows competitors navigating across multiple countries or continents as quickly as they can to win a £20,000 cash prize. We think the experience and self-growth the competitors face is like winning in its self tbh. So, if you're up for some travel inspiration, or just want that edge of your seat anticipation, Race Across the World is definitely one to add to the watch list. Find out more
RE-USE If you don’t have much space in your house, but want to increase your indoor plant game, try propagation. You can re-use old jam and pickle jars easily to start your plant family. We don’t have much surface space in our house, so small jars on a shelf just add a bit more interest. It also keeps plants off the floor and soil away from the kids hands. I love finding quirky coloured jars which reflect the light onto the walls. With the more-is-more plant trend on the rise, it’s such an easy way to add a bit more green into your life.
EAT This Veg Packed Beef Ragu is a regular meal in our house as we all love it. It’s really easy to prep (15mins), then you can either leave to simmer or pop in a slow cooker. It’s packed with flavour and the cooked down veg makes for a deliciously rich sauce. It’s also a great one to get your toddler involved helping to grate (supervised) the veg… No I don’t have a really small right hand in the reel 😆 Find the recipe on Instagram here. Save and follow for more BLW & toddler snack recipes.
